Boutique senior home care across New Jersey, from Sussex to Cape May, coordinated one family at a time by Olivia Roster, Care Concierge. One dedicated CHHA per family — not a rotation. Registered Nurse in oversight. Free forty-eight-hour assessment. Private-pay and long-term-care-insurance families only.
What Senior Home Care at Home Looks Like
Senior home care is professional in-home care for an aging parent, spouse, or partner who needs help with activities of daily living but wants to stay in the home they know. That includes meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, bathing and dressing, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and companionship. The distinction from skilled nursing is that CHHA-level care (Certified Home Health Aide) is non-clinical — the CHHA does not administer injections, change wound dressings, or manage medical devices. When a case needs those, Bonjour coordinates with a home health nurse or hospice team.
Why Bonjour, Not a Franchise
New Jersey has more home care agencies per capita than most states. Most are large franchises optimized for Medicaid billing, which means they rotate four to six caregivers per family per week to spread hours across their aide roster. That model works for the agency’s accounts receivable. It does not work for a dementia patient whose recognition of a face resets every forty-eight hours, or for an adult daughter who has to re-orient a new stranger to Mom’s medications on Tuesday and again on Thursday.
Bonjour is deliberately not that. We are one small agency serving 545 towns from a single Scotch Plains base. Every family gets one caregiver, matched by hand, and a Registered Nurse in oversight of the case. We do not accept Medicaid — an acknowledgement that Medicaid’s reimbursement rate forces rotation-based scheduling, which we were built to avoid.
Meet Olivia Roster, Care Concierge
Every family intake call comes to Olivia directly. No call center, no phone tree, no intake nurse. She answers the phone live during business hours and returns after-hours calls the same day. Her direct number is (908) 447-4896.
Olivia matches every family to a caregiver by hand — personality first, cultural fit second, clinical fit third. A CHHA who is the right personality but the wrong clinical match can be trained up on medication or protocol. A CHHA who is the right clinical match but the wrong personality has already lost the case in the first hour.
