- Schedule — standard weeks vs. weekends + holidays. Industry-standard holiday surcharges (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) are disclosed in the proposal; no other surcharges.
What long-term care insurance typically covers
Long-term care insurance policies from John Hancock, Genworth, Mutual of Omaha, Northwestern, MassMutual, and most major carriers typically reimburse the family for hospice & end-of-life home care provided by a private agency. Bonjour provides the detailed invoices and caregiver logs that policies require for reimbursement, mailed or emailed monthly to the policyholder or designated family member. We do not bill the carrier directly, but the documentation we provide is built for the reimbursement workflow.
